Over the years\, Michael has spoken about suicide awareness to thousands of university students throughout the United States. Michael’s message is simple: In the fight against suicide\, all of us must consider ourselves first responders\, in our own lives and in the lives of those we know and love. \nDevastated by this inexplicable loss\, they have dedicated their time and resources to promoting suicide education and awareness to college students throughout America. \nRegister for this event.

DESCRIPTION:Pluralism\, Inclusion\, & Equity (P.I.E.) Series Presents “Critical Race Theory\, Democracy\, and Climate Collapse: All our Fates Are Linked.” This event is open to faculty\, staff\, students\, and the community. Faculty and staff must register through EdVantage. \nThe Pluralism\, Inclusion\, and Equity (P.I.E.) series offers workshops and trainings designed to increase our intercultural proficiency so we may provide effective teaching and support services for our diverse student body. \nPlease join for a discussion that uses the ongoing attacks against Critical Race Theory as a window onto the routine exploitation of racism in electoral politics—a strategy that not only deepens social strife\, it intentionally threatens our democracy as well as society’s ability to prevent climate collapse. We will also discuss how and why people on the broad left often respond in self-defeating ways. DESCRIPTION:This workshop will focus on using Microsoft Translator in one-to-one conversations and in the classroom.
