I am a first generation college student, pursing an Aerospace Engineering major and would like to transfer UC San Diego or San Diego State. My future goal is to be able to work for the Air Force as an officer and then go on to work for Lockheed Martin. Currently my involvement on campus is Vice President for the S.T.E.M. Club. A person that inspires me is Kelly Johnson, Aerospace and Systems Engineer. One of his best work was the design of the SR-71 Blackbird. I aspire to create an impact in the aircraft industry as he did. It is my ultimate goal to be an inspiration to first-generation college and low income students.

I am a mechanical engineering major aspiring to transfer to UC San Diego to feed my insatiable curiosity. Engineering allows ideas and designs to be made a reality, however, that requires a great deal of imagination and creativity. During my experience as Math Club president and an internship with NASA, I loved being involved, challenged, & gaining hands-on experience.  After working in the industry, my ultimate goal is to transition into teaching. I aspire to instill the importance of education & my passion for STEM to minorities such as first-generation, low income, & latino/hispanic individuals like myself.

I am a first-generation student following my passion for Aerospace Engineering. I am currently striving to attend Stanford to further my education in Aerospace. My ultimate goal is to pursue a Ph.D in Quantum Physics and to conduct research on the metaphysics of the universe. Engineering is more than just equations and numbers. It’s a style of living that paves the way for the future of all things. I hope to use my knowledge to benefit our community and future generations as we, as a whole, advance into space.

I am an Aerospace Engineering major. I am a patient and hardworking individual with the ability to adapt to various work environments. I always look for environments that will utilize my current abilities and aid the development of new skills. As I continue my educational career, I would like to graduate with a bachelor’s in Aerospace Engineering and proceed into the private industry. I dream of the day that I could help create a convenient environment which will benefit those who work in transportation via aircraft.
