Cypress Bistro Opens for Spring
Welcome to the Cypress Bistro, where talented students from our School of Culinary Arts and Hospitality Management prep, cook, staff and manage a fine (yet casual) dining experience each and every Thursday, mid-February through mid-May. Under the guidance of an incredible team of faculty (who are also leading industry professionals), the Cypress Bistro serves up delicious themed lunch fare. For this season’s opening day, the Chef’s Tasting Menu featured an arugula and pickled beets salad with goat cheese mousse and lemon vinaigrette as a starter, a pan seared NY striploin with roasted potatoes, candied onions, brussel sprouts, corn puree and cabernet demi for an entree, and a vanilla bean crème brulèe with lavender shortbread and raspberries for dessert. Next week it’s on to a regional taste of New England.
Located at the Anaheim campus, the Cypress Bistro serves lunch from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM (last seating is at 12:15). Limited reservations are available at the Friends and Family price of $10, including beverage. Lunch service will continue on Thursdays through May 19.
