Dr. Schilling to Discuss Student Homelessness
Cypress College President JoAnna Schilling, Ph.D. will discuss student homelessness in Orange County during a podcast at noon today. Addressing housing and food insecurity among students has been one of Dr. Schilling’s key initiatives during her presidency at Cypress College.
Dr. Schilling will appear on the broadcast with Jennifer Friend, the Chief Executive Officer of the Project Hope Alliance. It is hosted by United to End Homelessness, empowered by United Way.
The show will address questions such as:
- What are the unique ways that homelessness affects students?
- What are some of the community’s methods of responding to this issue, and how can we improve upon them?
