These dates apply to scheduled classes meeting the full length of the semester.

| October 30, 2023 | First day to apply for spring 2024 graduation and vocational certificates |
| November 1, 2023 | myGateway registration begins for winter and spring semesters First day to submit special admit forms |
| December 18, 2023 | Winter 2023-2024 Classes Begin |
| December 19, 2023 | Last day to add winter classes Last day to drop winter classes for a refund Last day to drop winter classes WITHOUT a “W” |
| December 22, 2023–January 1, 2024 | Winter Holiday – Campus Closed |
| January 12, 2024 | Last day to drop for most winter classes with a “W” (please see the Searchable Class Schedule for exact dates for specific classes) |
| January 15, 2024 | MLK Holiday – Campus Closed |
| January 19, 2024 | Winter 2023-2024 Classes End |
| Last day of instruction for a winter class | Last Day to Select the Pass/No Pass Grading option via myGateway |
| January 22, 2024 | Special Admit students register for spring |
| January 29, 2024 | Spring 2024 Semester Begins |
| Prior to the first day of class | If the class is OPEN, an Add Authorization Code is not required. If the class is CLOSED, a Waitlist option may be offered. There is no guarantee of enrollment into any class. |
| Starting the first day of class | An Add Authorization Code is required for most classes. |
| February 5, 2024 | Begin taking spring audit requests |
| February 9, 2024 | Lunar New Year Holiday – Campus Closed |
| February 10, 2024 | Campus Safety begins issuing parking tickets for vehicles that have not been registered in the campus virtual parking system. |
| February 11, 2024 | Last day to add spring classes Last day to drop classes as a “no show” to qualify for refunds Last day to drop classes WITHOUT a “W” |
| February 16-19, 2024 | President’s Holidays – Campus Closed (Saturday and Sunday classes will not meet February 17 and 18) |

| April 28, 2024 | Last Day to Drop Classes WITH a “W” |
| May 24, 2024 | Spring 2024 Commencement at 4 p.m. |
