Yom HaShoah Event to Feature Irene Perbal and Holocaust Survivor Yetta Kane
Join the Cypress College Foundation to witness testimony of Holocaust Survivor Yetta Kane; a panel of two child survivors whose lives were saved in Amsterdam by those willing to risk their lives to save them; and an interview with Irene Perbal, a non-Jewish woman whose family risked their lives to save Jews at the cost of losing her father. There will also be a presentation of Klezmer melodies from the Vilna Ghetto.
