Introducing the Cypress College Campus Podcast
Cypress College is pleased to introduce the Cypress College Campus Podcast. The show was officially unveiled during Cypress College President Dr. Scott W. Thayer’s first State of the College presentation to the Board of Trustees for the North Orange County Community College District on Tuesday, May 14, 2024.
The Cypress College Campus Podcast shares the stories of our campus community – our colleagues, students, alumni, and advocates. The podcast is a monthly show hosted by Dr. Thayer and produced by the Office of Campus Communications.
In the inaugural episode, Cypress College President Dr. Scott W. Thayer interviews student body president Arjun Ayyappan, who is the first-ever community college student accepted to a prestigious summer program at Stanford University. Subsequent to recording the show, Ayyappan learned he has also been accepted to Stanford as a transfer student. He plans to attend in the fall.
