Starfish Student Success Tool

Starfish is an application that lets faculty and staff help students through connection. This Guided Pathways platform can provide a communication tool, a student service access point, a chance to raise a hand and ask for help, and a place to connect with a Success Network.

It also acts as a resource for tracking support efforts across campus, to further offer students a hand along their academic journeys.

Access Starfish in one of two ways:

  1. Access Starfish by logging in through myGateway, clicking on the student tools tab on the left-hand side, and then clicking the Starfish link under the employee links section.
  2. Access Starfish by logging in through Canvas, accessing any of your courses for the semester, and clicking on the Starfish link in the menu on the left-hand side

Accessing Student Email and Microsoft 365

All students have access to the Microsoft Office Suite including programs such as Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook, the email app. Log on to any of the programs through myGateway, following the steps at this link.
