Speech & Debate Team Takes 2nd Place!
The Cypress Speech & Debate Team (Forensics) took second place overall in limited entries this past weekend at the Tabor-Veninsky Invitation hosted by Cerritos College, according to Professor Jennifer Page. There were a total of 19 universities and colleges in attendance. Our students competed in both individual and debate events. This tournament served as the warm-up for California Community College State Championships the team will be attending in mid-March. The students have been working tirelessly to prepare for state and nationals later this semester.
