Student Health and Wellness Center Grand Opening and Resource Fair Tomorrow
The Student Health & Wellness Center will hold its grand re-opening on Tuesday. This event is open to the campus and will feature free food, drinks, and desserts; games, raffles, and prizes; a resource fair; and tours of the Student Health & Wellness Center.

Puente Alumni Testimonio: Dr. José Del Real Viramontes
The Transfer Center and Puente Program present Puente Alumni Testimonio. José Del Real Viramontes will discuss his journey as a first-generation, immigrant scholar and his research on community college transfer experiences with insights from his co-edited book “Community College and Beyond: Understanding the Transfer Experiences for Latina/o/x Students.” RSVP here.

Employer Spotlight and Lunch Featuring Aflac
The Career Planning and Workforce Development Center welcomes all students to join us for an Employer Spotlight featuring Aflac and facilitated by Cypress College alum Jonathan Hajimomen. Attendance verification can be provided for those that offer credit. Lunch will be provided while supplies last!

Spring Theatre: SpongeBob Musical
Are you ready, kids? The Cypress College Theatre Department is staging The SpongeBob Musical through this weekend.
Based on the Nickelodeon series, the musical follows SpongeBob SquarePants’ attempts to avert a volcanic eruption in his underwater home of Bikini Bottom. Everyone is welcome at this fun show, and Cypress College employees can purchase tickets for a discount. Visit the box office link and use code CCEMPLOYEE for a $5 discount on tickets. Student pricing is $10 off general ticketing price.

Library Author Talks
Attend a virtual reading via the Cypress College Library during two upcoming Library Author Talks. First, log on to hear Rehab: America’s Failed Response to the Opioid Crisis with Author Shoshana Walter and Special Guest Host Barbara Kingsolver. Then, listen to On a Mission: The History of US Women Astronauts with Smithsonian Curator Emerita Valerie Neal.

Art Shows
The Art Department invites the campus to two exhibitions that transform adversity into creativity, connection, and meaning. First, BLUE VIBRATIONS showcases the work of Mila Gokham; second, RESILIENCE highlights the work of Sara DeSmet, Alexia Kutzner, Maria Fuster, Eliza Pfister, and Licia Wise, all artists and art therapists.
