What: Parking Lot 8 Renovation
When: April 30, 2026 – August 21, 2026
Where: Cypress College – Parking Lot 8
Work Hours: 7 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. (anticipated)
Activities:
The Parking Lot 8 renovation project will begin on May 1, 2025. The site logistics plan further illustrates the two phases that are planned and areas that will be closed during Lot 8 construction. Construction fencing for the Fine Arts project will be removed April 30 and new fencing for the Lot 8 project will be placed on May 1.
Parking:
During construction Staff parking will remain unavailable in Lot 8. Alternate Staff parking spaces are available in Lots 1, 2, 3, 4, 7, and 9. ADA parking stalls west of the Humanities building will remain available until Phase 2 of the project, currently anticipated to occur July 25 – August 21, 2026. Alternate ADA parking spaces are available in Lots 1, 4, 5, and 7 during this time.
