What is the Language Exchange Space

The Language Exchange Space is a welcoming hub created by the Cypress College ESL Department in collaboration with the Foreign Languages Department. It is a place where language learners can connect, practice English and other languages, and build a strong sense of community on campus.

About the Space

The Language Exchange Space was created to support student success through connection and engagement. Students can:

  • Share cultures and experiences
  • Practice and improve language skills
  • Navigate college life with support
  • Access ESL workshops and learn about certificate opportunities

We also support students transitioning from non-credit to credit programs by providing guidance and academic resources.
