Art Gallery: George Rodriguez

Texas-born George Rodriguez creates humorous decorative ceramic sculpture addressing his identity and community. The first in his family to finish college, he went on to receive an MFA from the University of Washington. George’s work is in the permanent collection of the National Mexican Museum of Art, Chicago and the Hallie Ford Museum, OR. He is Artist in Residence at Philadelphia’s Tyler School of Art & Architecture.
