Diversity in Film Symposium

The Media Arts and Design Department is hosting a discussion panel on the subject of diversity in the film industry. Our distinguished speakers represent a wide range of professionals from Rain Valdez, a transgender actress/filmmaker, regular guest on The Lopez show, to Peter Anthony Andrews, the youngest Vice President of programing ever appointed at Prime Time Dramatic Programs at NBC. If you’ve ever watched Little House on the Prairie or Columbo, his influence was directly reflected on your TV screen as he programmed these and many other Emmy Award-winning shows.
