The NOCCCD Office of Diversity & Compliance is hosting an Anti-Racism Campaign Pre-Launch event. This event is open to faculty, staff, students, and the community. Faculty and staff must register through Edvantage.
Pre-launch presentation by Melina Abdullah, PhD
Dr. Abdullah is a renowned expert on race, gender, class, and social movements. She is a Professor of Pan-African Studies at California State University, Los Angeles. She was appointed to the Los Angeles County Human Relations Commission in 2014. Dr. Abdullah is the author of numerous articles and book chapters, with subjects ranging from political coalition building to womanist mothering.
