This collaborative group is specifically designed to help guide the families and parents of currently enrolled Cypress College students. Nuestra prioridad es apoyar a las familias hispanas/latinas, and we are here to ensure you have the resources and knowledge to help your student succeed.
Our first workshop will be on Thursday, September 17, 2026 at 6 p.m. Location will be announced soon.
There will be a total of three workshops from fall 2026 to spring 2027. You do not have to commit to all three sessions, but participants who complete all three sessions will receive a certificate of completion PLUS an entry into our opportunity drawing!
The Workshops Will Focus On:

Understanding the college experience

Navigating resources available for students

Building a strong support system for your student’s success
Workshops Will Be Offered in Both Spanish and English. Los talleres se ofrecerán en español e inglés.
