Cynthia Acosta

Currently working at University California Irvine Medical Center as a Licensed Psychiatric Technician, where I work on a medical psychiatric unit specializing in the treatment of persons with varying degrees of mental health illnesses and/or developmental disabilities. I also am and adjunct instructor for Cypress College Psychiatric Technician Program. I have 18 years of experience helping those with mental illness and developmental disabilities. I hold a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Cal State Fullerton, master’s degree in psychology from University of Phoenix and am in the process of completing my Dissertation for my PhD. I am eager to learn from others because I believe that cultural diversity enriches the work environment and makes us stronger as individuals and as a team. Buen Cypress!
