Dan Nguyen, B.S.R.S., CRT, RT(R)(MR)(CT)
Dan Nguyen serves as an instructor in the Radiologic Technology program at Cypress College. With nearly 20 years of experience in medical imaging, his clinical background spans diagnostic radiography, computed tomography, magnetic resonance imaging, and interventional radiology. He has served as a clinical instructor and CT chief/coordinator.
Dan graduated from Long Beach City College’s Diagnostic Medical Imaging program, where he also completed advanced education in magnetic resonance imaging. He earned a bachelor’s degree in Imaging Sciences from Boise State University and is pursuing a master’s degree in Radiologic and Imaging Sciences at California State University, Dominguez Hills, with anticipated completion in summer 2027.
Dan teaches radiographic imaging, patient care, medical terminology, image production, and radiation physics. He connects imaging science with clinical practice, emphasizing competency, compassion, and critical thinking.
Dan is licensed through the California Department of Public Health – Radiologic Health Branch and registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in radiography, computed tomography, and magnetic resonance imaging.
