Recommended Course

BIOL 231 C General Human Anatomy Hybrid

This is a fantastic class that teaches you about the structure of your body. Not only are there engaging lectures and amazing labs, there is very useful online content that helps you master the material.

Classes

Online BIOL 102 Human Biology

  • BIOL 102, Human Biology is a 3-unit course. Three hours of lecture per week for standard on-campus class. Pass/No Pass/Letter Grade Option
  • UC/CSU, AA GE, CSU GE, IGETC
  • Prerequisite: None
  • Corequisite: None

The course is a study of modern biological concepts presented in a human context. The concepts will include human evolution, anatomy, physiology, genetics, population biology, and ecological principles. Included in the course will be discussion on current topics on environmental and public health issues as they relate to the human condition. (Not open to students with credit in BIOL 101 C or BIOL 101 HC.)

Online BIOL 160 Integrated Medical Science

The hybrid class has two 65 minute on-campus lectures and one three hour on-campus lab per week. See lecture times and dates below.

This course includes a logical analysis of body tissues, organs, and systems. It stresses the microscopic, developmental, and gross anatomy of mammals, with special emphasis on human anatomy.
Note: For students planning to take BIOL 241, don’t even think about taking BIOL 241 without successfully completing a college chemistry course like CHEM 101 with at least a C. If you want a the best possible grade in BIOL 241, take College Chemistry first!

Hybrid BIOL 241 General Human Physiology
