Donations Help A.S. to Feed 35 Student Families for Thanksgiving

Donations from across the campus helped the Associated Students to feed 35 student families for Thanksgiving. A.S. members assembled baskets of food, complete with turkeys, as part of their annual program to help fellow students who are in need.

“Associated Students would like to thank you for your generous donations to help feed families from our college this holiday,” A.S. President Jocelyn Zaragoza said. “In total we were able to make 35 baskets and donated 35 turkeys. We would especially like to thank the L/LRC Dean, Dr. Cassens, for contributing to the food drive by coordinating the library’s ‘Food for Fines’ event with A.S. This was a great collaboration and we are looking forward to many more collaborations in the future.”
