Japanese Culture Club Holds Monthly Friday Movie Night

The Japanese Culture Club presents monthly Japanese movie nights on Fridays at the Immersive Digital Classroom (planetarium) in the Science, Engineering, an Math (SEM) building. These movie nights take place during the fall and spring semesters.

Join us as we watch Japanese movies in Japanese with English subtitles. So far, movies shown include many from Director Hayao Miyazaki’s Studio Ghibli, such as Spirited Away, and Kiki’s Delivery Service.

The door opens at 5 p.m., with a discussion from 5–5:30 p.m. The movie starts at 5:30 pm.

Email the Japanese Culture Club Advisor, Mihoko Terada Luther, for the detailed information, including when and what we will watch.
