Join us for Black Student Success Week Events
In 2020, a dedicated coalition of leaders and advocates within the California Community Colleges pioneered the creation of Black Student Success Week. This annual event offers a time to reflect on our commitment to the academic well-being of Black and African American students. This year’s theme is “Building a Better Future Together: The Urgency is Now.”
Cypress College is celebrating Black Student Success Week with screening and watch parties in the Legacy Center (Humanities, 1st floor) of the statewide “The Black Hour” webinars listed below, along with hosting two additional webinars through the Cypress College A²MEND Student Chapter, facilitated by Cypress College Professor Virgil Adams.
