RISE Youth Week

From October 21–24, NOCCCD presents the RISE Program’s inaugural Youth Week!

Come listen to DJs and powerful guest speakers, learn from trainings and workshops, and enjoy food trucks and snacks.

All sessions and activities focus on uplifting young people who’ve experienced the youth incarceration system. RISE would love to for you to join them in attendance throughout the week.

Financial Wellness Week

Put the fun in college funding during Financial Wellness Week. Participate in interactive events to boost your financial fitness and monetary know-how, brought to you by the Financial Aid office. From a Money Tree to a Terrarium Workshop to a Budget Game, there’s something for everyone.

Mental Health & Wellness Summit at Cypress

Cypress College, Fullerton College, and North Orange Continuing Education together with the North Orange County Community College District present our first Mental Health & Wellness Summit on October 29 at the Cypress College Theater.

Recharge with connection, collaboration, and interactive sessions to address mental health concerns and provide healthy coping strategies for students, while offering support strategies for employees. Food and giveaways for attendees!

When: October 29 @ 8 a.m.–2:30 p.m.

Pups N’ Pints

Pups N’ Pints is an annual event held by the Cypress College Foundation to bring together alumni, retirees, and community members!

Dress up your dog for a Halloween costume contest and show off your pup’s style.

Join us at the pond in the center of campus for tasty beer, great food, and live music from 4-7 p.m.

Cypress’ Photography Department is now displaying Ed Heckerman’s solo exhibition Recent Offerings.

The Cypress Photo Club presents two all-cyanotype process shows: Tru Blue by board members, and Mi Mundo Azul by Maria Calixto Martinez.

Cypress College Art Gallery Fall Exhibitions

Stop by the Cypress College Art Gallery between now and November 21 for the fall exhibitions Now and Then and Reflecting Pool. Now and Then presents works by current and former Cypress College Art Department instructors.

Transfer & Pre-Graduation Fair

Planning for your final step at Cypress and what comes next? Come to the TPG Fair! Meet with representatives from Cal State Universities and Universities of California as well as private and out-of-state colleges and universities. Student Services representatives from Cypress College will be on hand, too: Admissions and Records, Career Planning and Workforce Development, Transfer Center, and more. Spend Halloween making your future plans less scary!
