Auto Tech Career and Skills Events

Auto tech students gather in the lift bay during a career expo.
The Automotive Technology Department hosted a career event on campus two weeks ago for its students to discover how to take the next steps on their career paths. The Orange County Automobile Dealers Association co-organized this “Classroom to Career” fair and brought together representatives from dealerships across the county to talk to students about job opportunities in their field.

This week, the faculty will put on an Auto Skills Challenge for high school students, who will work to beat the clock at several tech tasks. To see the competition, visit the Auto Tech department Thursday at 5:30 p.m.
