Big News: Summer and Fall 2025 Registration Now Starting Earlier!

Summer and fall registration will now begin earlier! Summer 2025 registration will open on March 25, and your registration start date is already available. You should have received an email from Admissions and Records earlier this week, or you may check in myGateway by clicking on “Registration Appointment” in the left-hand navigation. Please note that the “appointment” is really the beginning of a window, with the posted time being the earliest you may register. All registration can be completed online via myGateway using College Scheduler.

Fall 2025 registration will begin on April 22, and fall registration start dates will be available around mid-April.

To prepare for registration, now is the time to meet with a counselor and get your Student Educational Plan completed (or updated)! Student educational plans are an important part of your journey here at Cypress because they map out the courses you will need to take based on your educational goals—and we understand sometimes educational goals change.

Appointments with major counselors are available through March 21. Starting March 24, counselors will primarily be available for quick walk-in counseling sessions to assist with course registration and clearance.

Schedule an appointment to meet with your major area counselor for the following:

  • Educational Planning
  • Career/Goal Setting
  • Degree/Transfer Requirements
  • Transcript Review
  • Progress Check
  • Graduation Information

You may also call (714) 484-7015 or visit Express Counseling on the 2nd floor of the Student Center to schedule an appointment.

Note: Limited appointments with some major counselors may be available after March 21. Please call or visit Express Counseling for more information.
