Campus Closed

In honor of Veterans Day next Tuesday, November 11, the campus and all online services will be closed.

Temporary Closure: Student Health and Wellness Center

The Student Health & Wellness Center will be closed until the end of this week as it moves from a temporary location back to its remodeled offices in Gym II.


Veterans Appreciation Game

Be sure to catch the upcoming Women’s Volleyball Veterans Appreciation Game: November 12, 6 p.m. vs. Orange Coast College at Gym II.

Fall Play: ‘The Crucible’

Cypress College Theater Arts presents its fall play, “The Crucible.” Synopsis: In the rigid Puritan society of Salem, Massachusetts, a group of teenage girls is stricken by a mysterious illness. When no earthly cause can be found, the girls rock the village with accusations of witchcraft against their neighbors.

When: November 7, 8 at 7 p.m. and November 9 at 4 p.m.

Illuminated Visions

The Media Arts Department brings its projection mapping creations to campus for the third time. Illuminated Vision is a free international light-show, presenting work from digital artists around the world.

Closing Events: Art of the Haitian
Global South, 2025

Haitian Revolution: Art of the Haiti Global South, 2025, showcases the talent of the Haitian Diaspora, as well as aspects of Haitian history and spirituality. Images of Haiti’s independence ancestors hang alongside Haitian Realist works depicting life in Haiti, and Magic Realist visions of people living their everyday lives on the island nation surrounded by unpolluted waters, peace, and plenty. The exhibit is part of the 8th SUR:BIENNIAL, a presentation of works by local and international artists influenced by the artistic traditions of Mexico, Central & South America, and the Caribbean. The exhibit runs until November 13 at the Cypress College Art Gallery.

New exhibition From Here to There represents photographic and mixed media work from 1999-present. These artworks document the unspectacular, the overlooked, search for identity, and transformation and help define similarities or differences.
