Consideration of college credit will only be accepted by institutions that are regionally accredited from the following accrediting agencies:

1. WASC Senior College and University Commission (WSCUC) & Accrediting Commission for Community and Junior Colleges, Western Association of Schools and Colleges (ACCJC)
2. Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACSCOC)
3. New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NECHE)
4. Higher Learning Commission (HLC) (previously North Central Association of Colleges and Schools)
5. Northwest Commission of Colleges and Universities (NWCCU)
6. Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools (MSA)
7. *Middle States Commission on Higher Education (MSCHE) – no longer accepting coursework completed after July 1, 2019

Foreign Transcripts

Coursework and degrees completed outside of the United States must be evaluated by an approved agency prior to the request for course substitution/pass along. The agencies listed below are approved NACES members:
