21st Annual Kindercaminata

Kid-Friendly Activities: 8:15 – 10:45 a.m.
Lunch: 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
Anticipated Attendance: 500 – 600 Kindergartners

The Student Support Services Division invites local kindergartners to Cypress College each year to engage them with college and career planning. The event is particularly important to children whose parents and/or guardians may not have had the opportunity to pursue a higher education. Children will interact with Cypress College staff, students, and department and club representatives. Departments are encouraged to provide an age-appropriate, educational and fun activity at their table. Community organizations will also host activity tables. The title sponsor, Knott’s Berry Farm, will provide a free lunch. Snoopy will welcome each class to the Cypress campus. Ballet Folklorico dancers and performers will entertain the children throughout the morning.
