DIS…MISS is Cypress College Art Gallery’s first group exhibition that centers on
today’s evolving perceptions of gender and feminism. The exhibition includes
nuanced imagery and videos, which confront persistent inequalities and
stereotypes in our contemporary culture.
In addition to the exhibition, the Cypress College Gallery will host activities every
Wednesday, 2-3pm, throughout the run of the exhibition. These will include
workshops, performances, panel discussions, readings, and artist lectures.
The gallery is open Monday-Thursday, 10am-2pm. In addition to individual
student visitors, classes are welcome to view the exhibition and participate in
self-guided activities, workshops, and lectures. Get up-to-date gallery event info
