Ellen Forney Talk/Book Signing and Workshop

Cartoonist Ellen Forney – author of bestselling graphic memoir, Marbles: Mania, Depression, Michelangelo, and Me and Rock Steady: Brilliant Advice From My Bipolar Life – will join us for
a day at Cypress College on March 20, 2019, culminating with a workshop in the Art Gallery:
10 a.m.–noon: Talk & Book Signing @ CC Theatre
3–5 p.m.: Workshop @ CC Art Gallery
The workshop will start with a short introduction on the ways in which words and pictures combine to create the language of comics. As it proceeds, participants will create a short comic of their own to take away.
