FITE (From Incarceration To Empowerment) Club’s screening of the documentary: FITE.
“FITE (From Incarceration Thru Education)” is a documentary of the founding of UC Berkeley’s Underground Scholars program. This program was groundbreaking at the time—and specifically for Cal students who were previously incarcerated.
The screening will be followed with a Q & A from some of the Cal students featured in the film. The audience will be encouraged to pose questions to the panelists.
Audience members will be given an opportunity to network with other allies and partners in the field. Like all of our events, audience members will leave energized, inspired, and determined to uplift these students.
