Dr. Sharrica Miller: From Foster Care to Ph.D.
Hors d’oeuvres / Foster Youth Meet and Greet
Dr. Sharrica Miller is a dynamic speaker and has experienced 12 years of her childhood in foster care. Among her many accomplishments, she earned her Ph.D. in Nursing from UCLA and has worked for several hospitals as an RN. She is currently an assistant professor at CSUF. She has earned several awards such as the 2019 Diversity, Inclusion, and Equity award from her campus and has been recognized for her advocacy, leadership, and mentoring efforts to support foster youth and marginalized communities. - Wednesday, May 11, 11:30 a.m.–1:30 p.m., In front of the pond
