RISE Youth Program Movie Night (Documentary and Musical)

The NOCCCD RISE Youth Program is hosting an upcoming event on April 28, 2025, from 3-6 p.m. in CCCPLX-216: Documentary Screening: Songs from the Hole.
This event is open to all who want to attend. This event will be “movie themed” so it will consist of popcorn, snacks, drinks, and Jersey Mikes! All information is listed below. If you can make it, make sure to RSVP with the link provided below to ensure that we have enough food to feed everyone.
Upcoming RISE Program Documentary screening:
- What: Songs from the Hole tells the story of a young boy (James “JJ’88” Jacobs) who, at the age of 15, took a life. Three days later, his brother’s life was taken. The film showcases JJ’88’s story, as an incarcerated musician struggling for healing and peace as he comes of age in this documentary visual album composed behind bars. With special live performance by JJ’88 after the documentary showing!
