With three quick actions, you can be trained to save a life. The number one cause of preventable death after injury is bleeding.
Here’s Why You Should Join Our Training
- To gain the ability to recognize life-threatening bleeding and act quickly and effectively
- To learn three techniques that will empower you to assist in an emergency and potentially save a life, including using a tourniquet
Dates and Times
- W 8/20/25 | 10-11 a.m.
- Th 9/11/25 | 12-1 p.m.
- M 10/20/25 | 2-3 p.m.
- Th 11/13/25 | 9-10 a.m.
Additional Information
- All trainings will be held in CCCPLX-419.
- All trainings are free and open to all staff, students, and community members.
- Seating is limited! RSVP with Marla McBride at mmcbride@cypresscollege.edu.
- All attendees will receive a certificate of completion and will be placed in a drawing for a personal STB kit.
