Veterans Resource Fair
On Tuesday, November 7, the VRC will host a resource fair to invite multiple veteran-friendly organizations to the center to inform vets and their families about the services that they can provide to them. The Resource Fair will take place from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Resources will range from employment, furnishings, personal assistance, healthcare, and so much more! On Wednesday, November 8, please join the Women's Unit(y) group on the VRC patio to celebrate and honor our female veterans. Esmeralda Martin will host the group as they come together for lunch and activities to acknowledge this very special portion of the veteran population. The Veterans Day Appreciation Carnival takes place on Thursday, November 9, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. We invite all of our military-affiliated students to bring their family and loved ones for a night of food, fun, and games. Rising Scholars hosts their All A's Recovery Meetings every Monday and Thursday, from 11 a.m. - 12 p.m. in HUM-126. These meetings are open to all of our Charger community members, including staff, faculty, and administrators. We ask that you identify as being in recovery from something (substances, gambling, codependency, overeating, spending, etc.) in order to share during the meetings.
