Puente Program Orientation
Puente creates leaders for California's future. The program focuses on university transfer, academic planning, intensive writing practice, and Latino culture and issues, as well as guaranteed English and counseling classes. The program is open to all students who are eligible for English 60, Counseling 150, and interested in the Latino culture and experience. This orientation is for Fall 2017. Yom HaShoah: Holocaust Day of Remembrance
Cypress College hosts its second annual Yom HaShoah Holocaust Day of Remembrance on Wednesday, April 26, 2017 from 7-8:30 p.m. at the Pond. The event will include presentations by Holocaust survivors, music, dance, and photography. The College’s event last year featured a keynote presentation from Dr. Jacob Eisenbach, a Holocaust survivor whose father, sister, and younger brother were killed by the Nazis, and whose remaining brother was killed in an anti-Semitic attack.
