Neil Bartlett brings Dickens's moving story of the precarious survival of innocence and goodness in a fiendish, fallen world to thrilling dramatic life. And the piece's overriding motif — Oliver's desperate search for the family he never had — is deeply affecting. The performances take place in Campus Theater.
