Amy Ward

Hello, everyone. My name is Amy Ward and I am in my tenth year as a math instructor. I have been with Cypress College for the last six years and spent the better part of that time working in the Math Learning Center here on campus.

One of the biggest reasons I chose to become a professor at a community college is that I myself went to a community college. In my experience I felt that having a teacher that truly cared about my future was the difference between finding my career and possibly dropping out. While my experience as your professor may not be life-changing, I hope that I can offer you an environment that leads to success and focus. The greatest thing about teaching is watching you all succeed and move forward with your lives. There is so much potential ahead and I am happy to be a small part of that.
