Timely Warning: Laptop Stolen in Strong-Arm Robbery

A student reported that two men stole a laptop as the student walked through Lot 9 this morning. Campus Safety and members of the Cypress Police Department are investigating the crime as a strong-arm robbery because of the threat of force used in the crime. The incident happened today at about 10:40 a.m.

The suspects were in a blue 1990s Honda Civic with sun damage on the driver’s door. The men were described as being Hispanic, in their 20s and the passenger wore a white shirt, dark khaki pants, and had a goatee.

Campus Safety and Cypress Police are continuing their investigation. Anyone with information about the incident or about the suspect should contact Campus Safety at (714) 484-7387. Imminent threats should be reported to 911.

Students and employees are reminded to report incidents or suspicious behavior to Campus Safety and/or Cypress Police immediately.
