Meet Christina

Christina is an adjunct counselor in ARISE, a safe space for students when feeling overwhelmed or overstimulated. She works with students on relaxation and stress management strategies, and opportunities for students to connect with peers on campus. Prior to coming to Cypress College, she worked at North Orange Continuing Education (NOCE) as an adjunct counselor, working with students with disabilities.

Christina earned her bachelor’s degree at California State University, Fullerton in communications. She then went on to earn her master’s in marriage and family therapy at Chapman University and a master’s in educational psychology from Alliant International University.

Christina enjoys reading, practicing yoga, hiking, and spending time with her three kids and husband. She loves going to the beach and spending time outside soaking up the sunshine.
