Meet Isaac
Isaac is one of the new adjunct counselors joining our team at DSS. Prior to joining Cypress College, Isaac worked in DSPS at Los Angeles City College as a career guidance counseling assistant. During his time at Los Angeles City College, Isaac worked in different departments within DSPS assisting students with testing accommodations, alternative media/technology, and working as a case manager for their blind and low vision students. In addition to his experience in higher education, Isaac has worked as a behavior interventionist in K-12.
Isaac earned his B.A. in sociology from the University of California, Los Angeles and then went on to earn his M.S. in rehabilitation counseling from San Diego State University. Isaac is also a certified rehabilitation counselor.
In his free time, Isaac enjoys spending time with family and friends. His favorite activities are eating good food, watching movies, and playing sports.
