Fresh Success Program

What is Fresh Success?

Fresh Success is a voluntary program at Cypress College that supports students who receive CalFresh (SNAP) benefits. The program helps students stay in school and achieve their educational and career goals by providing assistance with textbooks, school supplies, and other education-related costs. Our goal is to ensure students have the resources they need to succeed academically without added financial stress.

Students who participate in Fresh Success may qualify for CalFresh benefits without working 20 hours per week. This program is available because Cypress College works with the Foundation for California Community College Fresh Success program, which is part of the statewide CalFresh Employment & Training initiative.
