STEP 3: ORIENTATION

There are 2 ways you can complete a
New Student Orientation -- In Person and Online.

In Person Orientation

In this Orientation you will get the results from your English and/or math assessment and learn some important information about getting started at Cypress College. This is your opportunity to meet with one of our counselors who will help you plan your classes for the upcoming semester. You will be provided with a FREE Schedule of Classes and College Catalog.

Bring your high school transcript and any college transcripts with you to the counseling session.

Online Orientation

Online Orientation, available through MyGateway, will provide the same valuable information that the In Person Orientation provides, but without the one-on-one attention from a counselor

At the end of the Online Orientation please email your 1st semester tentative plan to the online counselor. Should you still have questions, you may consider attending an In Person Orientation. Please call (714) 484-7223
