Commencement

Cypress College’s 47th Commencement was held Friday, May 23, 2014 in Gateway Plaza.

At total of 1,083 students earned associate’s degrees, another 649 earned certificates. More than 400 students participated in commencement, and 90-plus faculty were part of the celebration.

Schedule of events

5 p.m. — Graduates gather in the theater
6 p.m. — Commencement Ceremony begins
7:45 p.m. — Reception immediately following the ceremony (time is approximate; the ceremony is expected to last about 1.5 hours)
