Description/Purpose/ChargeThe Student Services Program Review (SSPR) Committee is responsible for developing the framework needed to support all elements of the SSPR, including the development, submission, review, and implementation of Program Review for programs and departments in Student Services.
Reporting Relationships  SSPR functions independently, reports to Student Services Council, and under the leadership of the Vice President, Student Services.
Decision-Making Authority  The SSPR Committee guides the Student Services Program Review process and has the authority to provide feedback and evaluates whether programs have met the standards set forth by the committee. Additionally, SSPR is an evaluation process aimed at continually assessing and improving programs in Student Services. It is performed by individual programs and departments and provides insight to further review functional and operational effectiveness and efficiency, student success and satisfaction, and to assess adequacy of staff, technology, and facilities.
Membership CompositionThe Student Services Program Review (SSPR) Committee is comprised of cross-functional campus stakeholders responsible for the overall implementation of the program review process and alignment of SSPR with the college’s mission and goals. The committee membership is as follows: chair, classified representative, institutional research representative, faculty representative, and student representative.

Terms of Membership  The tenure of members is ongoing until a member is unable to
continue serving.
Membership Process  The SSPR Committee chair works with the VPSS to fill vacancies.
Meeting Dates/Times  SSPR meets monthly during regular semesters on the second
Monday from 10 – 11 a.m. via Zoom.
Meeting ProceduresThe SSPR chair leads each meeting and meeting notes are kept and shared in the committee shared OneDrive folder.
Consensus Process, Decision-Making, and DocumentationThe decision-making process within SSPR involves independent review of SSPR documents and discussion during committee meetings. Once a consensus is achieved, the Chair records and disseminates documentation to programs under review.

The committee regularly reviews our processes and documents and changes are made periodically for continual assessment.
Clear communication among members is vital as it ensures that everyone is updated.

updated on the Program Review webpage.
