Sober Scholars
Sober Scholars is a weekly meeting presented by the LIFE Program. Meetings occur Thursdays from 10 – 11 a.m., virtually and in person. Come experience sobriety in higher education: build community, empowerment, support system, uplifting each other, community service, networking, field trips. This is a safe meeting space for our students who identify as being in recovery (or wanting to achieve recovery) from addiction and/or alcoholism. This is not 12-step based. The Cypress College Veterans Resource Center welcomes all veterans and their families to meet with multiple veteran friendly organizations to gain insight into the services they can provide to assist with personal resources and guidance. Resources will cover mental health, healthcare, VA home loans, CalVet, and much more. Located at the Veterans Resource Center, Building 8, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., Tuesday, November 8.

Donate today to the Associated Students' Blanket & Jacket Drive! We accept new and old blankets, jackets, and clothing to be donated to those in need. The drive is happening November 9 through November 30. Donation boxes are located at the entrance of each building on campus. Find your nearest bin today!

Cypress College Associated Students presents our Thanksgiving Food Drive. Held November 9–16, the food drive accepts donations of non-perishable food in jars and cans, as well as packaged. Recommended items include mashed potatoes, stuffing, gravy, cranberries, chicken broth, mac & cheese, canned vegetables, canned fruit, pumpkin pie mix, pie crust/mix, evaporated milk, sweet potatoes, pasta/rice, quick bread mix, biscuit/roll mix, dessert. Make someone's Thanksgiving a special one by donating to those in need. Find your nearest bin around campus!

A COVID vaccine clinic will be held on campus 11/9 & 11/16 from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. near the NOCE building . All COVID vaccine types and Bivalent Booster will be available, free of charge. If you're under 18 years of age, a parent must be present for consent. Our campus and surrounding community are welcome to participate.

Cypress College Ceramics is excited to present the Cup and Bowl Sale this year. There will be cups, bowls, sculptures, vases, etc. All of the money raised will go directly to Ceramics, which helps us give scholarships to the students, pay the fees for ceramic conferences, and for guest speakers.
