Lavender (LGBTQ+) Welcome
Returning LGBTQ+ students and allies: You are invited to a welcome event to kick off the fall 2022 semester at Cypress College. Please join us in HUM-311 on Thursday, August 25, from 12-2 p.m. for our Lavender Welcome to connect with other queer folks, learn about LGBTQ+ resources at Cypress, and join in a campus tour! The Cypress College Dance Department is auditioning for its Celebration of Dance performance! The auditions are happening Thursday, August 25, at 6 p.m. in Gym 2, Room 125. Auditions are open to students, faculty, and staff of all levels and styles. Wear workout clothes to the auditions. Masks are recommended, but are not mandatory. Celebration of Dance performances will be November 18-20. For additional information, contact Dance Professor Maha Afra at mafra@cypresscollege.edu.

Groceries are only getting more expensive. Register this week for our Food Pantry. All currently enrolled Cypress College students may register for our Food Pantry on campus and receive a variety of groceries every week! Fall 2022 Student Life & Leadership Building 8 (Next to the VRC) Wednesdays & Thursdays 9 a.m.–12 p.m. & 2–4 p.m. You must register to use this service. Registration is available in Student Life & Leadership.
