Purpose
The Kindercaminata experience was founded in 1993 to celebrate the life and accomplishments of Cesar Chavez. Kindercaminata strives to provide an early college experience for children to imagine that college is possible. Kindergarteners are invited to Cypress College to learn about career opportunities made possible through college education. By participating in Kindercaminata, children will:
- Meet faculty, staff, and student from each academic pathway
- Participate in a Student Services fair to learn how Cypress College supports their academic success
- Participate in hands-on activities that bring majors and careers to life
Reporting Relationships
The committee reports to the Vice President of Student Services (VPSS).
