Description/Purpose/ChargeThe purpose of the T/PGF Planning Committee is to plan the annual Transfer/Pre-Graduation Fair.
Reporting Relationships  The T/PGF Planning Committee is a workgroup comprised of representatives from most of the units within the division of student services to encourage and support as they prepare to
enter the workforce and/or transfer.
Decision-Making Authority  The T/PGF Planning Committee makes the decisions necessary to plan, support, and sustain the T/PGF. Decisions include event dates and times, event location, and purchasing decisions for
food and entertainment.
Membership CompositionThe T/PGF Planning Committee is co-chaired by the Director of Admissions and Records and the Director of the Transfer Center and includes representatives from each unit within the division Student Services, the Communications Office, and the Office of
Institutional Research and Planning.
Terms of Membership  Representation is ongoing.

Meeting Dates/Times  Meeting dates and times are determined based on participants’ availability.
Meeting ProceduresCommittee members are asked to forward agenda items to the co-chairs. Co-chairs otherwise disseminate meeting agendas before the meeting. “Other Business” is placed on every agenda to give members the opportunity to discuss issues that come up in the interim. Co-chairs facilitate discussion and decision-making.
Consensus Process, Decision-Making, and DocumentationDecisions are made through consensus and after members have gleaned sufficient information from group discussions.
Communication and Distribution of MaterialsCommunication among the group can be initiated by any member. It is often the case that doing so is necessary to share progress on issues and to inform our collective thinking and the decision-making process in between meetings.

Communication with students and faculty about the T/PGF is championed by the co-chairs. Such communications are generally for the purpose of informing students, faculty, and staff about the T/PGF event and the benefits of participation.

Additionally, the Communications Office supports the group’s efforts to market the T/PGF.
