Although the fall semester is just heating up, spring will be here before we know it. Get a head start by picking the right classes for you with the help of a counselor. They can help get you closer to your degree, certificate, or transfer goal.

Great Shake Out October 16
The 2025 National Great Shake Out earthquake drill takes place Thursday, October 16, 2025 at 10:16am. Cypress College will conduct a “Full Evacuation” exercise, unless a disability prevents it. No alarms will go off; messages will arrive electronically. Campus Safety officers will be at assembly points and lead people to their evacuation zone. More information will follow closer to the event.
Pat Ganer Celebration of Life
Celebrate the life of Dr. Patricia Ganer, a beloved professor, coach, mentor, colleague, and friend known as the matriarch of Cypress College. Share laughter, tears, and gratitude for Pat as the college honors and celebrates a life that continues to inspire.

From Here to There: Karen Emmett Exhibition
New exhibition From Here to There represents photographic and mixed media work from 1999-present. These artworks document the unspectacular, the overlooked, search for identity, and transformation and help define similarities or differences.

Art of the Haitian Global South, 2025
Haitian Revolution: Art of the Haiti Global South, 2025, showcases the talent of the Haitian Diaspora, as well as aspects of Haitian history and spirituality. Images of Haiti’s independence ancestors hang alongside Haitian Realist works depicting life in Haiti, and Magic Realist visions of people living their everyday lives on the island nation surrounded by unpolluted waters, peace, and plenty.
Haitian Revolution: Art of the Haiti Global South, 2025, is part of the 8th SUR:BIENNIAL, a presentation of works by local and international artists influenced by the artistic traditions of Mexico, Central & South America, and the Caribbean.
